KUALA LUMPUR: Men’s singles world No. 1 shuttler Lee Chong Wei and diving queen Pandelela Rinong are the frontrunners for the 2012 National Sportsman and Sportswoman awards.
Youth and Sports Ministry’s chief secretary Datuk Mohid Mohamed said Chong Wei and Pandelela, winners of the 2011 awards in their respective categories, were among seven nominees shortlisted by the selection committee for the awards.
