SHAH ALAM: Two smashing performances from their relay combinations sparked off wild celebrations for Selangor as they regained the overall title – with one day to go – in the MSSM (national schools) swimming championships at the Shah Alam Aquatic Centre.
The Selangor girls’ 12 and under 4x50m medley quartet – comprising Rosalind Pang, Liew Chern Xin, Shannen Kay and Ho Jia Ern – splashed their way to a superb winning time of 2:15.84 to erase the 12-year-old record of 2:17.81 held by Sabah.
