PETALING JAYA: Promising squash player Gurshan Singh overpowered Darren Chan to win the boys’ Under-19 category in the first leg of the CIMB National Junior Circuit in Kuantan yesterday.
The 18-year-old Gurshan, who is a trainee with the Squash Racquets Association of Malaysia (SRAM), denied Darren of a win in his home state with an 11-4, 11-6, 10-12, 11-9 triumph.
