GUANGZHOU: National diver Cheong Jun Hoong was beaming with joy as she warmed up to start her daily training session at the state gymnasium in Guangzhou yesterday.
The 22-year-old, who has been training there for the last two weeks, was given the nod by head coach Yang Zhuliang to make her first appearance in the FINA Diving World Series, which will kick off with the first leg in Beijing next month.
