NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana: The Baltimore Ravens, sparked by three touchdown passes from Joe Flacco, edged the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 in Super Bowl 47 after a power outage interrupted the game for 35 minutes Sunday.
The Ravens won their second National Football League title, the 12-year gap since their last crown a Super Bowl record, and gave coach John Harbaugh bragging rights over younger brother Jim, the coach of the 49ers.
