Benfica TV deal set to be scrutinised by regulator

LISBON (Reuters) - Portuguese football club Benfica - who plan to move the screening of league matches to their own Benfica TV - will be forced by the country's anti-trust authority to allow all national pay-TV operators to access the broadcasts, analysts say.

Benfica, which has the largest fanbase in Portugal, re-elected Luis Filipe Vieira as their president on Saturday after he pledged to move the broadcasting of league matches to the club's television channel to boost revenues.
