KUALA LUMPUR: Segamat BA stamped their class to score a clinical 61-31 win over the Singapore national team in the women’s event of the Malaysian National Basketball League (MNBL) at the Maba Stadium yesterday.
Segamat, with eight national players in their squad, are heavy favourites for the title but did not get off to a winning start on Friday. Instead they were stunned by KL Bina Puri who edged them 79-77 in overtime.
