KUALA LUMPUR: Shuttler Goh Liu Ying made amends for a disappointing outing in last month’s London Olympics by reaching the mixed and women’s doubles semi-finals in the China Masters in Changzhou yesterday.
The soft-spoken Liu Ying turned on the power to combine superbly with Chan Peng Soon in their 15-21, 21-16, 21-15 quarter-final victory over China’s Tao Jiaming-Bao Yixin in 53 minutes.
