PETALING JAYA: Former champion Mok Weng Sun led Clearwater Racing Team to pole position in the Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race (MMER) at the expense of defending champions Team Petronas Syntium in the qualifying sessions at the Sepang International Circuit yesterday.
Weng Sun, the 2008 champion, Matt Griffin and Gianmaria Bruni, a class winner in the Le Mans 24-Hours Race this year, clocked their Ferrari 458 the fastest time of 2:04. 671 in the GT class.
