Pandelela pays tribute to badminton icon Chong Wei


PETALING JAYA: Both are Olympians assured of their places in the national sporting history but diver Pandelela Rinong is still in awe of shuttler Lee Chong Wei’s achievement in London.

The Sarawak teenager, who became the first Malaysian woman to win an Olympic medal with her bronze splash in the 10m platform, shared the same stage with Chong Wei as they were feted to a reception at The Star, where they each received RM100,000 yesterday.
