KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) will now start on Sept 1 and the knockout stage of the competition has been scrapped for this year.
The MHL will be held over a five-week period and end on Oct 10. There will be no rest for the players as, four days later, the Razak Cup competition will be held in Kuantan from Oct 14-21.
