The Dragons are scouting for new players in America

PETALING JAYA: The Westports Malaysia Dragons have begun their team rebuilding process for next season’s Asean Basketball League (ABL) with both general manager Yakub Hussaini and head coach Ariel Vanguardia going to America to scout for potential players to hire.

The Dragons finished fourth in this year’s season and made the playoff semi-finals before losing to eventual runners-up San Miguel Beermen. They are however set to be without the services of top centre Brian Williams next season, after the Bronx native was reportedly offered a better contract by the Beermen.
