HIS eyes tinkled with excitement despite the tiring flight from Kota Kinabalu as former national swimmer Alex Lim Keng Liat stepped into the Wisma Belia Swimming Complex at Bandar Indera Mahkota with the Sabah swimmers in tow.
Keng Liat is making a poignant return to the venue where the country first heard of his name 16 years ago. It was at the outdoor pool where he first carved his name in the national swimming scene by setting new Games records in the 100m and 200m backstroke, which still remain until today.
