PETALING JAYA: The weather was not conducive for golf but that did not stop Gavin Kyle Green from rising to the occasion to take the lead on the second day of the 25th MPI-Saujana Amateur Championship at the Saujana Golf and Country Club yesterday.
Despite an hour’s rain delay and the slightly wet conditions, Gavin came in with a three-under 69 to add to his opening day’s 71 to take a one-stroke lead.
