PETALING JAYA: All eyes will be on newly-crowned Malaysian Amateur Open champion Gavin Kyle Green when he defends his title at the MPI-Saujana Amateur Championship, which begins at Saujana Golf and Country Club today.
Gavin became the first Malaysian in 15 years to win the national amateur championship on Sunday and his impressive 14-under 274 victory puts him in good stead as he tees up at one of his favourite venues — the Palm Course.
