MANILA: Westports Malaysia Dragons head coach Ariel Vanguardia has slammed the Asean Basketball League (ABL) organisers for the poor refereeing standards which favoured the San Miguel Beermen.
In Game 1 of the semi-final playoffs in Manila on Saturday, the Dragons were tied at 91-all with the top ranked Beermen in the fourth quarter with just 1:18 on the clock when the impressive Patrick Cabahug sank a three-pointer.
