PETALING JAYA: The tenacious Goh V Shem and Lim Khim Wah claimed a sensational spot in the quarter-finals of the Asian Badminton Championships (ABC) after coming back from the dead to upset fourth seeds Fang Chieh Min-Lee Sheng Mu in the second round in Qingdao yesterday.
It was in last year’s ABC that V Shem-Khim Wah announced their arrival on the world stage by staging a fine run to the last eight before narrowly losing to world champions Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng of China.
