WARSAW: Polish media piled on the praise yesterday for Agnieszka Radwanska’s maiden Miami title, where she dismantled Maria Sharapova and staked her claim on a Grand Slam this season.
The Pole’s 7-5, 6-4 defeat of the world number two, which denied Sharapova her first victory in four finals appearances, was a “triumph of finesse in an era of force”, wrote Przeglad Sportowy.
