Zamri skips Cub Prix to train in Japan for road race


PETALING JAYA: Mohd Zamri Baba has made a tough decision to skip the opening leg of this year’s Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship, which will be held at Stadium Batu Kawan in Seberang Jaya from March 31-April 1.

The Klang-born Zamri said he will forgo Round 1 of the championship to spend the next three weeks in Japan as part of his SuperSports 600cc training programme and to ride as a wildcard in the kick-off round of the MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship at the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit on the same day as the Batu Kawan race.
