PETALING JAYA: Top womens singles shuttler Tee Jing Yi’s fading hopes ofqualifying for the London Olympics took a major hit after she was bundledout in the second qualifying round of the Swiss Open yesterday.
The Badminton World Federation (BWF) have allocated 38 slots for the women’s singles in the Games and although the top 16 automatically qualify, not all participants will based on the order of rankings. This is to ensure that all five continents are represented.
