KUALA LUMPUR: A record 26 teams took part in the Malaysian Junior Hockey League (MJHL) which ended on Sunday in Ipoh but the quality of the players and matches left much to be desired.
Some players don’t even have the basics of playing hockey like stopping, hitting, pushing and flicking. And some can’t even make a proper pass.
