Just a day after being hailed sensationally as the team’s heroine for clinching the winning point for Malaysia in a 3-2 win over India in a Group A tie, the 19-year-old Li Lian went down tamely 12-21, 10-21 to Sapsiree Taerattanachai in 31 minutes.
