Josiah carries Malaysian hopes into keirin final in Kazakhstan

PETALING JAYA: Veteran Josiah Ng showed that he still has plenty of fire in his belly to be the unexpected saviour for Malaysia in the first leg of the Track World Cup in Astana, Kazakhstan, yesterday.

The 31-year-old Josiah, the Olympic finalist in Athens in 2004, stormed into the top six keirin final in style by winning his semi-final heat while the more fancied Azizulhasni Awang fell short of expectations.
