KUALA LUMPUR: Rookie recurve archer Khairul Anuar Mohd is a rising star but he remains very much down to earth and attributes much of his success solely to hard work.
Khairul, fellow youngster Haziq Kamaruddin and the experienced Cheng Chu Sian earned Malaysia a coveted spot in the team event for the London Olympics after beating a host of more illustrious opponents in the World Archery Championships in Turin, Italy, in July.
