KLHC whip Sapura to clinch Premier Division crown


KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur Hockey Club (KLHC) won their third Premier Division title in a row when they whipped Sapura 5-1 yesterday in their last match of the Malaysia Hockey League at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil yesterday.

KLHC, who also won the double last year, went through the preliminary round unbeaten to chalk up the maximum 24 points after playing eight matches. They scored a total of 45 goals and conceded 12.
