ALOR SETAR: The ever dependable Lee Chong Wei marched on but almost all the other youngsters fell like tenpins in the Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold badminton championships at the Sultan Abdul Halim Stadium here yesterday.
Besides Chong Wei, three other players survived the first two rounds of the men’s singles competition. They were Liew Daren and two independent shuttlers – Mohd Hafiz Hashim and Beryno Wong.
