PETALING JAYA: Malaysian interest in the Swiss Open badminton championships ended with the exit of former national No. 1 Wong Choong Hann in the semi-finals of the men’s singles in Basel on Saturday.
Veteran Choon Hann, who eliminated top seed Jan O Jorgensen in the quarter-finals the previous day was beaten 22-24, 13-21 by fourth seed Park Sung-hwan.
