Malaysia target a golf medal in SEA Games

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia are targeting a medal in golf at this year’s SEA Games in Palembang, Indonesia.

“The main aim of the national squads is to win a medal at the Games and we want the golfers to focus on that for now,” MGA president Robin Loh said after officially announcing the 12-member – men’s and women’s – squads for the 26th edition of the Games, which will be held from Nov 11-25.

Kenneth de Silva and Gavin Kyle Green will lead the men’s challenge while Kelly Tan will spearhead the women’s charge.
