SINGAPORE: Australia’s seven-time Major winner Karrie Webb stormed to glory in the US$1.4mil HSBC Women’s Champions tournament in Singapore to end world number one Tseng Yani’s brilliant run.
Veteran Webb overcame an overnight one-shot deficit to claim victory by a stroke over Chie Arimura of Japan. Yani, who was bidding to win for the fourth time in four weeks, finished third.
