KUANTAN: K. Rajan has been sacked as the coach of ATM-Airod after the team’s 1-3 defeat by Yayasan Negri Sembilan (YNS) in a Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) Premier Division match here last Saturday.
The management had high expectations on Rajan to help the team to be among the top four in nine-team league. But ATM-Airod, who were Division One winners last season, are in eighth spot after 10 matches. They lost eight matches and won just two, scoring 10 goals and conceding 32.
