SYDNEY (AP) — Former Australia test great Neil Harvey says Australia's lack of cricket talent is as low now as the late 1970s when Kerry Packer poached the team's best players.
Neil Harvey, who batted in 79 tests for Australia from 1948-1969, was chairman of selectors when Packer's privately contracted World Series Cricket broke away from the Australian cricket board in a dispute over television rights.
