LAKE BUENA VISTA: Chris Stroud fired a 10–under 62 to surge to a three–shot lead in the first round of the Disney Classic US PGA Tour event at Disney World Resort on Thursday.
“No matter what golf course we play, no matter how hard they set it up, no matter how hard the conditions, somebody always shoots 62, 63 or 64,” said Stroud, who finished three shots in front of Roland Thatcher in a round in which darkness halted play with 14 players still on the course.
