PETALING JAYA: LPGA stars Cristie Kerr, Natalie Gulbis and Michelle Wie took some time off from the greens yesterday to visit the Sime Darby Medical Centre in Subang to learn more about the Cancer Research Initiatives Foundation (Carif), the selected charity for the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia tournament this weekend.
Kerr and Gulbis, who just arrived from California, and Wie were given a tour of the medical centre’s cancer treatment facilities, accompanied by Sime Darby’s chairman Tun Musa Hitam and Carif’s chief executive officer Prof Dr Teo Soo Hwang.
