PETALING JAYA: All eyes were on Hong Kong siblings Anthony and Kitty Kam but it was the Filipino duo of Miguel Luis Tabuena and Sarah Ababa who stole the show on the opening day of the fifth 100Plus Malaysian Junior Open at the Nexus Golf Resort Karambunai in Kota Kinabalu yesterday.
Tabuena, 15, and Ababa, 16, shot two-under 70 and three-over 75 respectively to take the lead in the boys’ and girls’ categories as Malaysia’s challenge faltered under the scorching heat and fast greens.
