PETALING JAYA: Defending champions Negri Sembilan got their Malaysia Cup campaign off to a great start when they edged Kelantan 1-0 in a Group A match at the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium in Kota Baru last night.
Abdul Halim Zainal scored from the penalty spot after Idris Karim was brought down by Kelantan defender S. Subramaniam inside the penalty box in the 73rd minute.
