Squash: Focused Nicol wins and faces Grinham in semis


PETALING JAYA: World number one Nicol David survived a scare be­­fore reaching the semi-finals of the Hong Kong Open squash championships yesterday.

The Malaysian, who is gunning for her fifth Hong Kong Open crown, dropped the opening set to England’s Laura Massaro before fighting back to seal a 7-11, 11-4, 11-4, 11-4 win in 36 minutes.
