PETALING JAYA: Rhythmic gymnast Lee Wan Nin, who made it through the back door for the Youth Olympic Games, served a pleasant surprise for Malaysia by qualifying for the individual all-around final in Singapore yesterday.
The 15-year-old wildcard entry was placed fifth in the qualification rounds, chalking up scores of 23.800 (rope), 24.075 (hoop), 24.100 (ball) and 24.425 (clubs) for a total of 96.400 to make the top-12 final.
