KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia are on course to reach the final of the Asean Schools Games boys’ and girls’ badminton team competitions after notching easy wins in the group stages at the Kuala Lumpur Badminton Stadium in Cheras yesterday.
The Malaysian boys’ team paraded world junior doubles runners-up Nelson Heg Wei Kiat-Teo Ee Yi and national junior singles champion Goh Giap Chin to cruise to a 5-0 win over Brunei in a Group B tie played in the morning.
