KUALA LUMPUR: High jumper Lee Hup Wei and China’s Wang Chen both cleared 2.15m in the Asian Grand Prix athletics meet in Pune, India, on Tuesday. But the Malaysian was awarded the gold medal on countback.
Seven athletes took part in the event and Tsykunov Vitaliy of Kazakhstan bagged the bronze with a height of 2.10m.
