PARIS (AP) - Robin Soderling played his role as the French Open spoiler yet again, ending Roger Federer's record streak of 23 consecutive major semifinals with a 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 upset quarterfinal victory.
In 2009, Soderling beat four-time champion Rafael Nadal to clear Federer's path to his first French Open title and a career Grand Slam.
