PETALING JAYA: As Malaysia’s top racing drivers prepare for the nation’s second biggest endurance race, the Sepang 1000km race on Saturday, they will be wary of their biggest threat for glory with Type R Racing Team openly declaring their intentions to go all out to retain the title.
Featuring Wong Yew Choong, Soh Kee Koon and Tek Kean Kang, the trio virtually led from start to finish in last year’s 181-lap race on the 5.543km track in their Honda DC2 to pen their names as the inaugural winners for Class 1 cars (above 1,900cc) and overall.
