FFF president plays down players’ sex scandal


PARIS: French Football Federation (FFF) president Jean-Pierre Escalettes has called for calm amid an under-age sex scandal that has implicated three France team players six weeks before the World Cup.

Bayern Munich forward Franck Ribery, Karim Benzema of Real Madrid and Lyon player Sidney Govou are alleged to have been clients of a prostitute working out of a Paris nightclub.
