It’s family time for Phil after Masters triumph

JACKSONVILLE (Florida): Phil Mickel­son didn’t go to the top of the Empire State Building or make an appearance on any of the talk shows after his US Masters victory. He was too busy going to a Taylor Swift concert and a San Diego Padres baseball game.

“It’s been a great week since we returned from Augusta, and a quiet one,” Mickelson wrote on his website on Tuesday. “I haven’t taken advantage of any of the media offers or made any special appearances. Some of them were really cool but family time was more important, especially after being on the road for the two weeks leading up to the Masters.”
