DOUBLES chief coach Yap Kim Hock showered praises on world junior champion Ow Yao Han even though he failed to achieve double joy for Malaysia in the mixed team final against China yesterday.
Yao Han lost in the mixed doubles partnering Lai Pei Jing – losing 16-21, 17-21 to Liu Cheng-Bao Yixin. But he made up for the defeat with a powerful display in the boys’ doubles match.
