PETALING JAYA: Ahmad Fazli Sham of Shell Advance Yamaha Maju Motor emerged as the first winner of the new CP130cc category in the opening leg of the Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship held in Alor Setar yesterday.
The two-time champion (2007-08) took full control of the entire 15-lap race before crossing the finish line in a total time of 12:03.259 ahead of Petronas Sprinta Yamaha Raceline rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah by a meagre 0.228 seconds.
