KUALA LUMPUR: The CIMB Group yesterday signed on as the title sponsor for the inaugural Asia Pacific Classic which, with a total purse of US$6mil, will be the richest sporting event held in the country so far.
The tournament will be held at Mines Resort and Golf Club from Oct 28-31 and the US PGA Tour have agreed to make it a fixture on their calendar for an initial period of seven years.
