LANGKAWI: The Ironman Langkawi competition is expected to generate RM30mil for the tourism industry given that there will be 729 competitors from 49 countries.
Race director Datuk A. Chandrakumanan said that the high number of competitors was due to aggressive promotion and the fact that the competition was attractive to many athletes worldwide.
