PETALING JAYA: An iconic name in motorsports and Formula One, in particular, will be resurrected with the official launch of the Malaysian-backed Lotus F1 car in London on Friday.
The team, whose main backer is AirAsia chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes, are one of the four new entries for the 2010 world championships but it cannot be denied that Lotus carry with them a long and illustrious heritage in motor-racing.
