STUTTGART: Petronas see a win-win situation for them in their decision to sign up as title sponsors of Mercedes GP, who are making their return to the Formula One championships as full constructors.
Contrary to popular belief, the Petronas vice-president of corporate services, Ahmad Nizam Salleh, said that they did not go all out to woo Mercedes after their sponsorship of BMW Sauber came to an abrupt end with the team’s withdrawal from F1.
