PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the Government has agreed to raise the rates of the Sports Incentive Scheme rewards to encourage athletes to excel and make Malaysia a sports powerhouse.
He said the Government also agreed to give RM10mil to the Football Development Plan fund set up this year to develop the sport from the grassroot level.
